“I learned that moving more slowly actually helps me”
One of my challenges has always been coordination, which is sometimes affected by processing delays. In class, I learned that moving more slowly actually helps me manage this. Slowing the movements gives my brain more time to process what my body is doing, even though it can be more physically demanding.
“Love how I can adapt this”
You explain everything really clearly and all the exercises can be done at our own pace and ability.
I love how I can adapt this into my current training plan and your sheer joy and enthusiasm during the sessions is infectious!
“I felt looser and energised”
Great session as always. I like that we move through the repeated movements quite quickly which helps me to stick with it, even when it’s feeling tough. The weights feel heavy by the end of the session! I felt sluggish when I arrived but by the end I felt looser and energised. Thanks Carol!
“Has ability to make the difficult seem doable”
It was certainly a challenging session this week, but, as always when Carol leads, there are options to dial it down. Carol has the ability to make the difficult seem doable. Thanks Carol, really enjoyed it. xx
“It was fun”
I really enjoyed the training. Using targeted walking to break up the other exercises made everything seem possible, and Carol’s suggestions for ways of scaling the exercises up or down to suit enabled us all to get the most from the training. It definitely made me feel more flexible, and more confident about exercising……and it was fun. Thanks Carol xx
“Really enjoyed it”
This was a movement training session for better walking and running and the attention to stride power, balance, and posture makes it relevant for everyone
This was scalable, engaging and brought in just enough challenge to feel strong and not overwhelmed. Really enjoyed it Carol, Thankyou xx
“Wish I’d started earlier”
The exercises we did really tested my coordination something I have always struggled with and I could feel that I was using lots of different muscles in a nice and beneficial way if that makes sense.
My initial thoughts on using the 1kg weights was that it was to light. Hate to admit it but I was wrong – very wrong! My arms especially felt like they had had a good workout and I sense that that will make me a stronger runner especially giving me more upper body strength.
First time doing one of these sessions – wish I had started earlier. Aside from the physical side of it, just so good to be out.
